Minooka, a suburb of Chicago, is a village in Grundy, Kendall, and Will counties, Illinois, United States.[3] The population was 10,924 at the 2010 census. Minooka was established as a place in 1852 when the railroad was built through this area. It was incorporated as a village in 1869.[5]
